Enterprise/Private Networks
Wireless broadband Metropolitan Area Networks (MANs) connect buildings and remote locations up to 40 miles (65Kms) at data rates from 2Mbps to 1 Gbps (depending on frequency, distance, antennas, etc.).
Enterprise wireless broadband networks provide reliable, secure, high-speed connectivity across two or more remote locations.  Many of these solutions are used to provide broadband access to remote, difficult to reach areas or to supplement existing wired networks.
Solutions in both licensed and unlicensed frequencies are available at a fraction of the cost of fiber and leased T1s.  Most costs of replacing an E1/T1 are recovered in the first year and eliminate on-going monthly operating costs for those services.

The advantages of wireless broadband enterprise/private networks include:

  • Ability to connect central offices to remote branch offices via a private, secure network.
  • Alternative to costly TIs, ISDN, DSL & cable.
  • Quick deployment with minimal environmental impact.
  • Easily scalable as network requirements grow.
  • Provides backup/redundancy for existing networks.
  • Available in both licensed and un-licensed frequencies.

Wireless broadband enterprise/private networks are being used in many areas including:

  • Business of all sizes
  • Education (public schools, university campuses, tech schools)
  • Health Care (hospitals & clinics)
  • Public Safety & Law Enforcement
  • Municipalities & Local/Federal Government
  • Vertical Markets (Transportation, Utilities, Oil & Gas)
